This is the first blog post I’ll make. My plan is to carry forward the story of the development of the 2nd book in the series, with the working name of : “The Pondstown Crisis“. This next book will continue the story of Mr. Hopper, Mr. Green, Mr. Croaker, Lisa Leaper, Mr. Slowly, Penelope Plodalong, Neil Newt and others who participated in the heroic rescue of Mr. Hopper in “The Pondstown Crisis“.
In the sequel, we face danger when water from Bayou Bog ( a nearby swamp community) stops flowing into Pondstown, which is dependent on that water-flow to maintain the water level in the lovely pond where Pondstown is situated. Two different groups leave Pondstown to investigate the reasons for the stoppage of flow from Bayou Bog to Pondstown. And I’m sure, readers of “The Pondstown Rescue”, will not be surprised to find out, that once again, that the Twoleg are at work in the cessation of water-flow to Pondstown.
As you might know or surmise, these stories, are written from the viewpoint of creatures we share the planet with. My hope is to stir awareness that other sentient beings may have a different outlook on how to treat the earth than we have. Most important is that we, as “Twoleg’s” think before we alter our environment.
My aim is to post more to this site every 10 days or 2 weeks. Thanks for reading.
